Veteran Student Groups
With an active student-veteran population on campus, AU has a number of opportunities for veterans, active-military, and dependents to get involved. Take a look at the several options below to see if any might be a good fit. From community service events and campus presentations to social gatherings, you'll always find a way to stay engaged while at AU. In addition to military-focused organizations, you are encouraged to get involved in the diverse array of student organizations on campus. These student organizations are supported by the staff in the University Center/Student Activities.
AU Vets - Veterans of American University is a club comprised of active-duty, veteran, and non-military affiliated students, which strives to assist veterans in transitioning from the military to campus life.
Student Veterans of America is national organization that provides support and resources to student-veteran organizations.
The Hoya Battalion - Georgetown University Army ROTC program comprised of five separate academic institutions,
including AU.
