Who is One Card & Dining Services?

One Card & Dining Services supports American University's Meal Plan Administration, One Card production & basic access, and university vending contracts under the Department of Auxiliary Services.

Announcements & Important Dates

  • One Card & Dining Services via APPOINTMENT only:
    • Mondays and Wednesdays 9:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
    • To Schedule an Appointment please click here to utilize our new Self-Service Appointment Scheduler!
  • One Card & Dining Services will be available remotely 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday via our virtual forms of communication and specifically, JustAsk: justask.american.edu
  • NOTE: Due to the Fall 2020 University Operating status the Online Photo Submission Portal will remain open through December 11, 2020. Information on how to complete the submission and requirements can be found here. No One Cards will be mailed. 
  • UPDATE: The Meal Plan Enrollment, Change and Cancellation Portal is closed for Fall 2020 Enrollments. In response to American University’s COVID-19 update on Thursday, July 30th, 2020. The Meal Plan portal for Fall 2020 is now closed. Students who had previously been enrolled in a meal plan will have their meal plans cancelled and all charges reversed from your Eagle Service Account. If you have already paid your student bill, you will be reimbursed for these costs. Please be aware that if you have other outstanding charges, the reimbursement will first be applied to those charges before any funds are returned. If you have not yet paid, please do not make payment for either of these. You will not be charged any late fees for charges remaining on your account past 8/1.

AU Dining Hours of Operation

On Thursday, July 30th, 2020 AU announced that all classes will move to online platforms for Fall 2020 semester. There will be no on-campus locations open for the Fall 2020 semester. Eaglebucks are available for your enjoyment throughout the fall. For a list of merchants currently open, please visit the Eaglebucks website.

Need to report a problem or concern with dining services? Here’s how to do it:

  • Type any question into the Just Ask field

  • This will pull up the Just Ask site. Look at the upper left corner and click on Create Case. (Tip: If you’re not logged in, it will ask you to log in; at that point, click again on Create Case)

  • Fill in the fields and submit

  • You’ll receive an email with a case number. The One Card & Dining Service Office will reply within one business day.
