Where does your tuition go? We continually invest AU's quality and in your future.

We've hired more renowned faculty who value good teaching, discovery, and experiential learning, so you learn from leading thinkers and professionals. Since 2009, we increased tenured and tenure track faculty by 11 percent.

We've established important research centers and continue to be a hub for visiting world leaders, so you can actively engage in the world's greatest challenges with some of the great minds of our time.

We're building new facilities, like the LEED gold home for our School of International Service, newly opened residence halls (Cassell and Nebraska addition), and renovated McKinley building as the new home of the School of Communication.

And, while you are studying in the most important capital city in the world, you can immerse yourself in unrivaled political, cultural, and educational offerings. You apply what you've learned in top-ranked internship and study abroad programs.

AU's enhanced student experience--a core element of our strategic plan--is so strong, it is earning notice in many rankings, and helping AU graduates quickly earn a living. Even in a challenging economy, 92 percent of the graduates in the class of 2014 were employed, enrolled in grad school, or both six months after graduation, and 90 percent of those working were involved in jobs related to their career objectives.
