Virtual On-Campus Interviews, Employer Meet-Ups, Pop-ins & Recruiter Chats

To generate buzz about your organization and further build your brand, host a virtual on-campus interview, employer meet-up, pop-in or recruiter chat. Pitch your organization and opportunity to students, and meet & greet with eager candidates. Submit your session request through Handshake and partner with our Employer Relations Coordinator, who actively promotes your event to appropriate audiences.

On-Campus Interviews: Enjoy the efficiency and convenience of interviewing AU students and alumni virtually through our free On-Campus Interview (OCI) program. Use Handshake to request an interview date, post available positions, review resumes from qualified candidates, and select interviewees.

Meet-ups: These sessions tend to run 30-minutes to 1 hour and follow a presentation to Q&A format, share current events and projects with students and pique their interest in applying to jobs and internships.

Pop-ins: You’ll set up for a specific timeframe (typically Zoom or platform of your choice) and students will rotate in and out of your virtual room, these are casual and quick!

Recruiter Chats: This format is structured around pre-scheduled one-to-one appointments with interested students & alumni, chats are generally 15 minutes and are a great first step in getting to know candidates.
