American Magazine
The May 2013 issue of American Magazine features Office of the Provost programs and people. "Healthy Choice" (PDF) features AU's three-year bachelor's degree program in Public Health, a program supported by Megan Lintott, Manager of Special Undergraduate Programs. Prof. Naomi Baron, Executive Director of the Center for Teaching, Research, and Learning, is featured in "A Must-Read About How We Read" (PDF) and discusses her forthcoming book.
New Graduate Academic Regulations
The new Graduate Academic Regulations have been developed and will be implemented in Fall 2012. We encourage you to become familiar with this succinct document which reflects national best practices in policies that are significant to achieving a strong academic environment and strengthening the graduate student experience.
New Three-Year Scholars Program
AU offers unique and challenging three-year bachelor programs in Public Health, International Studies, and new for Fall 2013, Politics, Policy, and Law. Each three-year program provides a rigorous academic curriculum augmented in the summers and during the regular semesters with cohort courses and with other curricular experiences linked directly to the program of study.
