Patch Management helps to safeguard AU-owned computers and AU data from cyber criminals looking to exploit applications that are out of date. The Office of Information Technology will install patches on AU workstations on a standard monthly schedule. Each month the recommended patches will be listed on this page. Advance notification will be sent to our technical support partners, when a patch other than Microsot will be deployed.
In addition to the monthly patch program, customers may at any time use the Software Deployment Portal to run our Comprehensive Patch Tool. The Software Deployment Portal is a feature of LANDesk that allows the OIT to place software patches and software applications in one location for users to update and install software from their desktops.
