Orientation Leaders are American University students who assist the Coordinator and Director's of Orientation, Transition & Retention in the implementation of orientation programs for all new students at American. They serve as leaders for a designated group of new students at each orientation program and during Welcome Week.
How can I apply?
The first step is attendign one of our information sessions, which will be held on January 23, 26, 31, and February 3 from 5:30-6:30pm in MGC 247! This is an important time to ask questions and learn necessary information about the job and application process. These sessions will begin promptly, so make sure you are there early. An Orientation Leader is never late!
We also encourage you to connect with us at various tabling events that will occur at the beginning of next semester, in January and February!

Applications are due by 5:00 pm on Thursday, February 9. By that time you must have submitted your online application, and turned in your resume and two reference forms in person to the Orientation, Transition, & Retention Office, located in Anderson Hall, Rm. 135. It is important to turn in your reference forms and resume in person because you will sign up for a group interview at that time.
