The College of Arts and Sciences offers more than 50 majors and minors in the arts, education, humanities, sciences, and social sciences as well as pre-med and pre-law. Students can also create their own interdisciplinary majors under the direction of an academic advisor. A dual-advising system ensures students receive access to both a department faculty member and a professional counselor to advise students on courses of study, internships, and career options. As a new addition to the facilities serving students within CAS, the Katzen Arts Center brings all visual and performing arts programs at AU into one 130,000 square foot space. Designed to foster interdisciplinary collaboration in the arts, the center provides state-of-the-art instructional, exhibition, and performance space for these arts disciplines.
